We’re sharing updated proposals for the future of the South of Romsey Town Centre - a key gateway into Romsey that includes the area around Crosfield Hall and the bus station. These proposals aim to improve how the area works for residents, visitors and businesses, by creating better connections to the town centre, providing public open spaces and making the most of our waterways. This will provide a better setting for new community facilities, extra public car parking and the bus station.

The plans have been shaped by years of community input, including Citizens’ Assemblies, public consultations and design workshops. At the heart of the proposals is a new community facility and improved parking provision - designed to meet Romsey’s needs now and in the future.

At the end, there’s a space for you to share your thoughts, to help us shape the next stage. As part of this engagement, we will be holding a drop-in exhibition at Romsey Town Hall on Thursday 6 November from 3pm to 7pm, where you will be able to ask questions.

In addition to the work presented across the pages above, there are other plans for the town next year. This will include looking at the opportunity for improving leisure and community uses at the Romsey sports centre; how we can make even better use of our car parks; and how we can provide more accessible green space for our residents.
